Woodley
Field is a Victorian stone-built family house dating from 1890.
Jean Charlton, the Proprietor, established Woodley Field to offer
superior quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation for visitors to
the area.
The
house has large, mature gardens, which may be used by guests, and
is decorated throughout in a style that perfectly complements its
grand proportions. From the oak panelling of the entrance hall
and dining room, to the tastefully contrasting decor of the two
bedrooms, each with its own unique character, Woodley Field is a
very popular location for the discerning guest - and one we're sure
you'll want to come back to again and again.
Families
are well accommodated for with the large bedrooms. Each bedroom
has the benefit of sofa beds for further sleeping facilities. This
family run business with Jean and her family all taking
an active part in providing a friendly and homely atmosphere.
Woodley
Field is to the South West of Hexham, on the road to Allendale.
Hexham nestles in the beautiful Tyne Valley and is a short 20 minutes
walk away, offering a wide choice of restaurants, shops and places
of interest.
Among the more popular attractions are the magnificent
Hexham Abbey, The Queen's Hall Arts Centre and Theatre, The Border
History Museum, an indoor Swimming Pool, and Indoor Sports Centre
and superb Golf Courses. And that's even before you go further
afield!
