Walking the Wall: Arrangements can be made for luggage forwarding if planning to Walk the Wall. There is a Wall Bus in Hexham and times are available from Tynedale Tourist Board. Also in Tynedale is the very popular Art Tour which offers visitor exhibitions, visits to studios and workshops of local artists.

In Hexham, there are facilities for swimming, a cinema and soft play, as well as superb shopping facilities from the many individual shops, while only half an hours drive away is the city of Newcastle, and Gateshead's Metro Centre.
